A traditional system of Yoga which involves the following practises: Kirtan (Chanting); Pranayama (Breathing exercises); Kriyas (cleansing and purification of the body); Dhyana (Meditation); Savasana (Relaxation); Vinyasa of Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutation) and Asana (focusing on the 12 basic postures and their variations). Modifications are provided with a look at ways to adapt practise to suit all body types and levels of ability so that this session can be beneficial to all, regardless of fitness/ yoga experience. Though provisions are given for the more experienced practitioner, this programme also makes for a nice gentle introduction to yoga, with rest periods between postures to balance your energy and encourage recuperation.
